There is a special area of the law in all 50 states centered around injuries sustained in place of employment. It is called Worker’s compensation and is a very lucrative source of income for private investigators. It is a kind of insurance that covers employees for injuries and /or disability caused through employment.

With the adoption of these laws negligence is no longer an issue. Prior to this legislation an employee was required to sue the employer.
